Linda Selmi
Linda Selmi is a self-taught artist based in Oslo who has been working with art since childhood. In recent years, her practice has developed a clear direction, where the intuitive meets the symbolic in a personal and expressive visual language.
The works are densely populated with symbols and figures that repeat and transform—eyes, tears, snakes, and organic forms—carrying traces of experience, inner tension, and movement. The motifs appear both immediate and complex, where the figurative dissolves into abstraction, creating a visual language that resists a single interpretation.
